I've only been here once, and I don't usually write reviews for places I have limited experience with, but this place stands out.
This place is huge; way bigger than most thrift stores I've been in. And the atmosphere is more like that of a Marshall's than a Goodwill. So even though I didn't leave with something, it really was the most pleasant thrift store experience I've ever had.
The Bourbonnais Goodwill is excellent. Quite an enormous variety of items. I love shopping for designer clothing there. Senior day is Wednesday!
Love it! Great deals on very nice items and I love that they sell a variety of items and not just clothing. I purchased two wii games for my sons the other day and they work great!
I found some items I have been looking for but check out was pretty slow with only one cashier. Store is very clean and well organized. I will be there again.
Yes, I may sound crazy, but the staff putting prices are out of their minds. Many items have the target clearance tags still on, with the Goodwill prices more inflated than the original. Goodwill stores are getting all the same. Art is screened before the showroom. Clothes are actually decent, but higher prices than other thrift stores. But I guess they need these prices to pay the CEO a quarter of a billion dollars.
