It is better than going to my primary doctor and unless I know I am going to need something major, or a chronic issue, I will continue to use this facility (and recommend to all my friends and family) for as long as we are lucky enough to have it here.
The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
I am absolutely shocked by the only other review of this immediate care center. I, as well as other members of my family, have visited this immediate care center on several occasions over the past several years for a variety of health related issues (ranging from sprains, muscle pulls, coughs, migraines, upper resp. infections, even a breast infection!!) I have never been treated with anything other than respect and have always felt to have the doctor's attention. Will Dr.Yalamanchili sit there a chat with you for 20 minutes? No. However, that is something I respect. This is urgent care, if you need to chat wait a few days for your other doc. He is fast, but very complete.
An AWFUL, AWFUL experience. Please advoid Dr. Yalamanchili's immediate care AT ALL COSTS!

Dr. Yalamanchili provides an "immediate care" service on the side of his vein solutions practice. While I cannot speak about his practice concerning veins, I will say that HIS IMMEDIATE CARE OFFICE PROVIDED THE WORST EXPERIENCE my wife and I have ever had in a physicians office. My wife came out of his office crying because it was such a poor visit. She was battling some respiratory problems during the height of the "Swine flu" season (which is known for its respiratory symptoms). After waiting for nearly an hour to see the physician, he spent less than 3 minutes with my wife--asking her (1) Is it snowing outside? (2) Are you pregnant? and (3) Are you allergic to anything? THAT WAS THE ENTIRE ENCOUNTER! He NEVER EVEN GAVE A DIAGNOSIS! He then wrote her a prescription for the MOST EXPENSIVE ANTIBIOTIC I had ever seen--$125 for 5 pills! Afterward the doctor's office charged our bank account $200 WITHOUT ANY NOTICE that they were going to do so When it was all said and done, we--married college students making less than $1,000/mo.--were charged nearly $400 for the visit and medications! When pleading with the billing agent at the office for some sort of partial reduction of the fee, she whispered on the phone, "I pretty sure that THIS doctor won't do that for you."
It's hard to find a good doctor, even more difficult to find a good urgent care facility. I'd hate for someone to read the only review that was here before mine and believe that to be the experience they would have. It has never been mine.
No, I am in no way affiliated with this organization other than being a patient, so let's just shut that down now.
I have gone to Immediate Care for years, as have all my adult children. It is just what it claims to be "Immediate Care". Dr. Y is kind, right to the point, and always provides the service I need. He is a good doctor and compared to other Immdiate Care places in this town, he beats them ALL for knowledge, alacrity and price.
The other reviewer said they waited for over an hour, I honestly cannot believe that. I have never, ever, waited beyond 15 minutes. This is on a walk-in basis and I never wait more than 15 minutes (and that includes a Christmas Eve visit!). My husband will never go to the doctor, he hates everything about it, but I have gotten him to come to Dr. Yalamanchili quite a few times and he hasn't said a negative word about the experience.
